Welcome!
I have been an impassioned teacher and explorer in the integrative health field for over twenty years. My approach to health and healing supports, guides and educates individuals in the process of self-inquiry, putting sustainable practices into their lives, to return to one’s innate intuition…embodied.
My practice synthesizes and brings together a unique toolbox of wellness and somatic education : I’ve been a Yoga teacher since 2001, a Mindfulness and Meditation teacher since 2005, a health supportive chef and culinary educator since 2009, a Functional Medicine health coach since 2016, and I am currently in the 3 year professional training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).
I have taught mindfulness-based approaches to mental health and meditation in classes and workshops around New York City and throughout the country virtually.
My commitment to holistic health found early roots in my childhood exposure to contemplative practices and a lifelong passion for movement as a professional dancer. I believe that health is not simply the absence of disease, but the quality of presence with which we embody the ups and down of our lives.
My work focuses not on the problem to be fixed or removed, but on providing a safe supportive space for a client’s co-created goals. We use mindfulness as the framework to bring awareness to the different pillars of health; nutrition, mindset, stress, movement, sleep, purpose and connection. Client’s have varied needs but share the common interest and goal of feeling better in this life.
When I'm not working, you can find me hiking in Hudson Valley mountains, dancing at the top, filling my lung with the fresh air, and contemplating how to best support my two young children with the challenges of this divided social and political world.
Based in the Hudson Valley and New York City. Serving clients around the world
